Wood Sectionals come in a variety of styles and wood configurations to meet your architectural requirements. The most popular of the wood sectionals are the carriage doors. They look like the doors of the past with today's new technology and better materials. The doors vary from paint grade to stain grade, using any suitable exterior grade material from composite to red oak.

Southern California's marine climate is close to ideal for wood doors. Summit Door takes care to properly fit rails, stiles and panels to ensure alignment among all components. Rails and stiles are 3/4" deep plow mortise and tenon joined, pinned and glued to provide the structural framework holding the panels.

Each Summit Door is custom made to fit your exact specifications. All frame members and panels are calculated and consistent in measurement to look the best for your home.

Our stain grade doors are made from hand selected varietal woods creating a handsome, consistent look; producing a great aesthetic and financial value for the homeowner. Any of our wood doors may be finished with paint coatings instead of being stained. However, some doors are suitable for paint only: doors with rails and stiles of fingerjoint material and panels made from MDF, Cladwood or Surewood.

MDF COMPOSITE THE MOST VERSATILE DOOR ON THE MARKET
	MDF composite has virtually the same finish as natural wood, but because it has no natural grain pattern, it resists surface checking, splitting and cracking. We are able to provide panels sized exactly to fit your door opening, regardless of the panel configuration you choose. Both smooth and textured MDF panels are available. Rails and' stiles are normally fingerjointed Fir.

OTHER STAIN GRADE DOORS A DOOR TO ENHANCE ANY ARCHITECTURE
	Solid wood raised panels of Redwood (shown), Cedar, Birch, Honduran Mahogany, Teak, White Oak and others are available upon request. These custom doors may have rails and stiles of matching or contrasting woods depending on customer preference.
